Calibre provided structural engineering and civil engineering services for the Grand Junction VAMC Fire Sprinkler Replacement project. This project included the replacement of the Building 1 Fire Sprinkler System and construction of a new, exterior, standalone prefab electric fire pump house. Calibre replaced all deficient fire sprinkler piping at heads. All relevant military (UFC and VA) codes and relevant structural criteria were reviewed, and gravity load, lateral analysis, and structural drawings were provided. Structural specifications were reviewed and seismic analysis performed. Civil engineering scope was limited to providing chain link fence for protection around the exterior of the building and some sidewalk rework.
