This military training complex consisted of a $19.7M, 40-building training facility across 18 square miles at Fort Irwin. The facility buildings included a a university, prison compound, a shanty town, an After Action Review facility, a Range Operations Center, and an AAR/ROC latrine. The university complex includes three education buildings with classrooms, a parking lot, and two courtyards. The prison compound includes a prison, cafeteria, inmate labor factory, and guard housing.
Calibre provided civil engineering design of the site grading, horizontal control, latrine system, details, and project specifications. AutoCAD was used to prepare the various construction documents.
