Run through the VA’s Office of Construction & Facilities Management (CFM), this $25M project will provide a Phase 2 Expansion of Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Florida. Services for this expansion will include master planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, general studies, cost estimating, construction period services, site visits, commissioning, and other services.
 
Cape Canaveral National Cemetery serves a Veteran population of approximately 297,635 within the 75-mile service area. This project will provide for an additional 10-year inventory of the more efficient casketed, double-depth, pre-placed crypts before depletion of the current inventory. This project will develop 30 acres of undeveloped land remaining at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. This expansion will provide 32,200 gravesites, including both casket and cremation sites, in new burial sections.
