As of April 13, 2021, Bedford Reinforced Plastics launched ReadySeries. Bedford is offering an extensive line of FRP, which is fiberglass-reinforced plastic. This is a quick-ship, easy-to-install modular solution for structures such as catwalks, pedestrian bridges, walkways, fixed ladders, and other platforms. The new material is strong yet lightweight so that it can be easily transported and installed.
Another wonderful thing is that the structures are fire-retardant, non-conduction, and have low thermal conductivity to prevent all sorts of expansions and contractions due to weather (especially with the unpredictable weather in Colorado). This means that the new material will not shrink, swell, warp, or bow.
