Have you ever gone into your Text Component Editor to edit your text and found it looking like this?
You cannot see what it says or even see what it is you’re are typing. Can you? How frustrating but there is a way to have this text show up clear as a bell.
This is all that you have to do:
Search using your window search bar for “Adjust ClearType Text” found in the bottom left of your start bar. It looks like this:
Open the application and you will find a screen that looks like this:
Uncheck the box that says “Turn on ClearType” and then allow that screen to stay up in the back ground. DO NOT SELECT NEXT!!!
Now return to your Civil3D Program and open the Text Component Editor again and now you can see that your text shows up perfectly.
This may affect the way that your text displays on other programs and if it is bothering you then just click the cancel button on the ClearType Text Tuner and everything will return back to normal.
